This is a practical Japanese conversation program for high school students and adults that allows you to enjoy regular online Japanese conversation and intercultural communication with English language learners from Japan, all from the comfort of your own home. By using Palaygo's IT tools and teaching each other's languages and cultures, you will be able to accurately express your own country's culture and daily life in Japanese.
With a session partner who is interested in English, learning Japanese is fun when you teach each other
Instead of traditional teacher-student one-way lessons, we use the MCF (Mutual Constructive Feedback) method, where students teach each other half Japanese and half English. Since your session partner is a native Japanese speaker learning English, you'll be able to encourage each other and have fun, conversational Japanese at an affordable price!
Learn proper English by speaking with native speakers in Australia
At Palaygo, which is based in Australia, your session partners will mainly be native Australian speakers. In fact, there are many Japanese language learners in Australia, with approximately 450,000 people studying there, and due to the track record of Palaygo School, there are many session partners. There is no time difference in Australia (maximum 2 hours), so it is easy to take sessions at the time you want.
Unique preparation and review methods using the platform
Through talk themes and teaching materials, you can effectively learn expressions and vocabulary in advance. During the talk session, Parego uses its own IT platform to communicate in real time with a high level of English. By reviewing the feedback, you can achieve effective learning.

How to use
Palaygo Home in 6 easy steps
All you need is a PC and an internet connection to get started right away!

Set up your profile
Log in to your Palaygo program and set up your profile page.

Book an online lesson with a native speaker from Japan
Register the date and time when you are available to have a Palaygo talk with a native speaker from overseas, or select the date and time when a native speaker from overseas is available and make a reservation for the talk.
Select a topic for the talk session
On the day of the talk session, you will choose a topic to talk about with a native speaker from overseas. Topics range from things about your own country, culture, customs, holidays, etc. We have prepared content for each level that will help you express yourself effectively in Japanese and ask correct questions in Japanese about the other person's things and culture.
STEP4
Preparation for the talk session
The content is prepared by topic, and you can prepare in advance for what you will be talking about. These contents include the content and process that allows you to learn and practice vocabulary and expressions that will allow you to effectively answer questions from native speakers during the session. You will also prepare to develop a conversation with the other person.
STEP5
Talk session held
A talk session will be held on the scheduled date and time.
Palaygo is a 45-minute online lesson consisting of 22.5 minutes of active Japanese learning by native speakers of Japanese, and 22.5 minutes of active English learning by Japanese native speakers learning English.
STEP6
Review of the talk session
The program will record your interactions with your native partner during the talk session, allowing you to review expressions, vocabulary, and advice you received from your partner, so you can use them in the future.
